“Opera is about finding the possible in the impossible. This is even more true in a time where freedom and culture should increasingly not be taken for granted and where there is a political climate that puts more and more pressure on artists and the funding of arts. The recent developments in AI technology also begin to question the pillars of creativity and will change how art is created in the future. With this conference I hope that we can exchange ideas to preserve the “wild space” of opera creation and to preserve its inherent idea of emotionality.”
